Review	As for meringues in general, this miso meringue has the same porous texture that gives a light crunch to the bite, followed by a fast melting action. Its pronounced sweetness is expected of a meringue and detectable on the palate as soon as it melts on the tongue. What makes this different from most meringues I've tried is the pleasant savoriness to the sweet flavor, coming from the miso. I can't smell any miso aroma but the salty side of the flavor helps my palate to tolerate this meringue sweetness, giving off a flavor similar to salted-caramel. A savory note is always a welcomed addition to a sweet snack, making it easier to enjoy and addictive. I think this snack best as an accompaniment to strong green and strong dark teas.
