I had been looking for a 300 ml Hiragata Kyusu for some time. This one is very dignified with a nicely textured surface. The lid fits tightly, pours well and feels good in the hand. I have enjoyed many rounds of Sencha, Gyukuro and Tai Ping Hou Kui. The clay has the ability to round off the bitterness of an over-brewed sencha, but leaving all the brightness to the tea. A very nice Tokoname indeed!
