Review	This lovely set of Yunomi is part of a gift from my dear husband. If you look at the photo closely, you will notice that the porcelain has a fine blue glaze. My set appeared more blue than I thought, but I still love it even though it is not a true white. Because of the high quality, I still think it deserves 5 stars and I'll you why. I love the size of this yunomi. It is slightly larger than the MATSUBA Yunomi. The base is very stable and does not wobble. I also love the pattern. The cherry blossoms and maple leaves are very soothing and well done; I believe it might be "transfer ware" although some parts do look hand painted. I love holding the yunomi because it feels very comfortable and tactile. Normally, I use my MATSUBA Yunomi when I drink my Sencha Superior and Gyokuro, but when I drink Genmaicha, I use this Yunomi because it seems to taste better in it. Maybe it's just my perception...but I do LOVE this set of YUNOMI given to me by my husband!!
