Review	Kuro-Raku is a great choice for your matcha bowl. I was worried I wouldn't like the red in the thicker glaze but it is wonderful and retains a look from the kiln of burning embers glowing under black spent wood, as you move the bowl to look at it. The size is generous and is so easy to whip the matcha in. As others have said, it is warm to the touch and light weight. With the tradition of the black raku reaching back to Rikyu, this bowl has a quiet, dignified presence. Excellent directions on care come with the bowl as well. I couldn't be happier and it was a great choice.
