I am writing today in hopes that many tea lovers will take a closer look at the wonderful Hohin set I recently purchased. This Hohin is amazingly still offered by Hibiki-an. The photographs on the website do not offer the viewer the true beauty the artist Shoami Takano has created. I myself was hesitant to make the purchase of the Hohin but I trust Hibiki-an and my feelings and Hibiki-an did not disappoint me. I have been exposed to many teas and tea wares and for someone not easily impressed I was elated to now own this new Hohin set. All serious and those preparing to be serious tea connoisseurs should not pass by this Hohin. The name Hohin reflects the idea of a treasured jar or magical jar. I can remark no exaggeration to the rule. This Hohin is in all distinction is magical. To hold this Hohin cupped in your hands you truly appreciate the quality passed down to you. It is a perfectly suited set and will ultimately transcend all that is appreciated in fine tea and tea enjoyment to its highest level of echo and enjoyment throughout your tea experience. The set is perfectly sized to share the experience intimately. Beauty not easily controlled in porcelain clay and sumi-e ink painting is masterly captured by the artist Shoami Takano and his talent and sensitivity for the need of perfect tea ware. Great respect follows Hibiki-an for offering fine tea matching tea ware for their clients and to artist Shoami Takano for his ability to share his artistry and personal affection for tea and tea ware with those who admire quality long after price is forgotten. |
