Review	-- 2021 batch -- Brief steeps (5-10 seconds) in 70 Celsius water. Liquor is opaqued light pale-green in color. Taste is smooth, mellow umami sweet, slightly grassy on the palate. The grassy note starts from the 2nd infusion and increases by the 3rd infusion. Overall taste is bolder than the Kuradashi Sencha. Mouthfeel slightly sticky, but no dryness. Wet leaves are freshly green, delicate looking, giving off a soft grassy aroma. The flavor intensity starts to mellow down by the 4th infusion, thus best to do a longer steep from here onwards. A longer steep (1 minute) gives a more pronounced vegetal taste. I find this tea best paired with a salty-sweet snack.
