| Review | This tea has an excellent aroma, a deep, dark green like the color of its leaves. Tencha is different in its taste from Matcha, as Hibiki-an notes, but the spirit of Matcha definitely haunts the cup, especially with the first infusion; the second and third infusions are sweeter, quietly green, somewhat akin to Hibiki-an’s organic Gyokuro, I find. If you are a fan of green tea—of Matcha in particular—I definitely recommend trying this Tencha; that first infusion is truly special. |
