The HANNYA SHINKYOH Kyusu is well made and brews tea perfectly. It is also quite easy to clean. I would have taken off off one star because the spout drips a little with each pour, but in the spirit of HANNYAH SHINKYOH (Heart Sutra), that is of no importance.

These Yunomi are a great match for Hibiki-An green teas. They are bright white and show the color of the tea well, adding a level of visual enjoyment to the flavor of the tea.

The organic Sencha Premium is a delicious, vegetal tea, unlike any of the off-the-shelf blended varieties available locally. It has a more astringent character than the organic Gyokuro, but a wonderful contrast in flavor to the mellow softness of Gyokuro.
