This is a wonderful strainer for sencha when your small teapot (kyusu) has lost its inner mesh, or if it doesn't have one. It fits perfectly inside small/medium teacups and kuyusu, and holds all the tea leaves. One can also use it for other herbal teas in different style cups, so it is versatile, and washes very easily. The stainless steel loses its shine gradually, but that is just fine. I have two of these in different locations! |
