Review Some background, I've been drinking Gyokuro Superior for about 3 years, tried a lot of different brewing methods, from bowls to my first Kyusu, to filtering water, you name it. Gyokuro premium is usually my treat when I want to celebrate something.

I was a bit skeptical on how much of a difference a hiragata kyusu would make, but I got this as a birthday gift so completely unbiased review here.

It does exactly as advertised. Removes astringency and excess bitterness completely. I would always feel the sharpness of that first 50ml brew, but after making it in this Kyusu the difference is mind blowing. It makes Gyokuro Superior taste almost as good as Gyokuro Premium. Can't wait to try the other premium teas I got with this order.

If you're deliberating, just get it. It's completely worth it.
