Like a pair of Iron Heart jeans or a Teruyasu Fujiwara gyuto, buying tea from Hibiki-an will transform your impression of what tea can be. This was my first purchase from Hibiki-an, and the Gyokuro Superior has been my everyday drinking tea since opening the perfectly packaged box. I prefer lower temps (140-155) and shorter brew times (1-2 minutes), but this tea responds pleasantly to multiple methods. The first brew is sublime. To say that I got my money's worth would be an understatement. |
