Infused three times at around 80 degrees for the first two infusions, third with boiling water. 8g/200ml as recommended, 60 seconds first 2 brews and left to sit for 5 minutes on the third First infusion - Light green, very mellow and grassy. Delicious. Body is slightly open, not as thick as fukamushi premium. Second infusion - Yellowish green. Very strong body, almost reminescent of chinese greens. Slightly bitter but not overpowering. Third infusion - Bitterness is gone, but the body is still there. A lot better than I expected. The Fukamushi Premium was a bit weak for my taste, but this one truly surprised me in the most pleasant way. Reminescent of some 'Mountain Tea' I had in a Prague teahouse, but couldn't find anything similar after. The leaves are also very large compared to Gyokuro leaves, they didn't fall apart at all. This tea will probably become a staple for my future orders. |
