| Review | Having tried various high end Gyokuro varieties I feel this one to be my favourite. It is a delicate bouquet of deep subtle flavour that reveals itself little by little with repeated infusions. The first infusion is a soft green with a light, sweet, refreshing flavour and fragrance. The second infusion is a beautiful emerald green and reveals an even more rich flavour, perfectly balanced between sweetness and brisk freshness that lingers long after one has finished. A tea that gives lingering pleasure suited to the lengthy time and energy invested in its creation. The tea gives one a sensation of relaxation, alertness, and fulfillment... |
