I have to admit I wasn't really attracted to these cups when I purchased them. I just wanted a nice set to travel with that was in an affordable range. I felt the leaves on the cups, coupled with the colour of the basic kyusu and yuzamashi I got from this site for the same purpose created an nice autumn feel when paired together. I was half expecting these to be as thin and light as my KAMON Yunomi (also bought here), but these are heavier, thicker, and have a more solid feel. I feel this makes them the perfect choice for their intended use. They are comfortable to hold and very nice to look at. The white is a bluish white, and as many other have said, the pictures of these cups really don't do them justice. They are classier than I was expecting. I am quite pleased with my purchase and can't wait to enjoy using them on my next trip. |
