Brewing time is paramount .. 45 sec.max suits me best...longer brewing time does bring some bitterness ( i call it overpowering ) Color : Fresh green apples in spring ( a beauty ! ) Umami : medium mellow , theanine high Taste : fresh and young tea rather sharpy on the edge (astringency high),cafeine and bitterness Low Finish : Rather "dry" tea ( raspy feeling : probably due to the higher degree of tannin during the high and short steaming of the leaves ? ) Excellent tea in the shade on a hot and sunny afternoon (reading a good book in the park) |
