Review Gyokuro Karigane is a hidden treasure. Not even my Japanese friends know about it and so, I like to surprise them with it as a gift. It is a very regular way to enjoy the luxury of Gyokuro on a daily basis. This comes at the risk of being spoiled by high standards. The theanine content in it is high and has a Qi about as powerful as matcha yet more mellow. The taste becomes very acquired... I can say it is my favorite.
