First time I've tasted gyokuro karigane and it is definitely every bit as mellow as they say! The leaves are a beautiful light-green color, interspersed with darker ones, and the aroma is fantastic (with hints of matcha...). Despite the gentle flavor, this tea gave me a stronger kick than House Sencha so I'd recommend it for people who need energy and focus, especially if you work late like I do.  |
