Review I found this tea to be quite excellent and a delightful change of pace from the Gyokuro and Senchas. I had never tried Houjicha Karigane before. I found it to have a wonderful, almost smoky, flavor to it that is especially nice on cold, dark, damp rainy days. A great sipping tea. The aroma is also extremely pleasant. I recommend you give it a try.
