Review This was my first time trying Sencha Fukamushi, I had been exploring different types of Japanese tea and how to brew each of them properly. I was intrigued when I read how the Fukamushi style Sencha was brewed quickly and had much smaller leaves so it wasn't suitable for a Houhin style tea-pot. I brewed some this morning using the recommended method and the color is beautiful! Rich green with a grassy umami smell. The taste is light and refreshing yet rich and full of umami power. I recommend giving it a try!
