Review Firstly, I understand why the works of Hideki Nishijima are loved by so many in Japan. The reason I know is that I bought a Sabi Yohen from Hibiki-An. It is everything the description said and more. Much like it is difficult define Wabi-Sabi so it is difficult to put one's finger on why an object that so exquisitely captures its essence can be so elusive to describe. Let's just keep it simple shall we. This chawan has a wonderful personality. You don't want to put it down. I keep mine at work so I can spend more time with it. I really can't understand why nobody has reviewed this. Perhaps they just can't tear themselves away from their Sabi Yohen long enough.
