I enjoy Houjicha and find this karigane is a good addition to the standard bancha at a reasonable price.

I drink a lot of houjicha: iced in the spring and summer and hot during the rest of the year. The bancha from Hibiki-an is the best I have found. Over the years I have occasionally tried other brands but the quality of this tea at this price is always outstanding.
